Description:
At 316 PM CDT, Doppler radar was tracking a cluster of strong
thunderstorms along a line extending from 7 miles north of
Platteville to near Mineral Point to near Darlington. Movement was
north at 30 mph.
HAZARD...Brief funnel clouds and wind gusts up to 50 mph.
SOURCE...Radar indicated.
IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around
unsecured objects.
Locations impacted include...
Dodgeville, Mineral Point, Highland, Centerville, Linden, Cobb,
Rewey, Platte Mounds, Blackhawk Lake Rec Area, Calamine, London, and
Edmund.
This includes U.S. Highway 151 between mile markers 27 and 45.
Instruction:
