* WHAT...Flooding caused by excessive rainfall is expected. * WHERE...Marathon County in central Wisconsin... * WHEN...Until 900 PM CDT. * IMPACTS...Minor flooding in low-lying and poor drainage areas. * ADDITIONAL DETAILS... - At 554 PM CDT, Doppler radar and automated rain gauges indicated heavy rain due to thunderstorms. Overflowing poor drainage areas will cause minor flooding in the advisory area. Up to 1 inch of rain has fallen. - Additional rainfall amounts of 1 to 2 inches are expected over the area. This additional rain will result in minor flooding. - Some locations that will experience flooding include... Wausau, Weston, Rib Mountain, Abbotsford, Spencer, Rothschild, Schofield, Ringle, Stratford, Marathon City, Edgar, Athens, Rib Falls, Hamburg, Birnamwood, Evergreen, Aniwa, Fenwood and Little Chicago. - http://www.weather.gov/safety/flood
