Description:
* WHAT...Flooding caused by excessive rainfall is expected.
* WHERE...In Wisconsin, Ashland and Iron Counties.
* WHEN...Until 645 PM CDT Friday.
* IMPACTS...Minor flooding in low-lying and poor drainage areas.
Water over roadways.
* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...
- At 334 PM CDT Friday, Doppler radar indicated heavy rain due
to thunderstorms. Minor flooding is ongoing or expected to
begin shortly in the advisory area. Between 1 and 2 inches of
rain have fallen.
- Additional rainfall amounts of 0.5 to 2 inches are expected
over the area. This additional rain will result in minor
flooding.
- Some locations that will experience flooding include...
Saxon, Gurney, Odanah, Kimball, Birch Hill, Marble Point,
Cedar, Franks Field, Saxon Harbor, Bad River Reservation and
New Odanah.

Instruction:
Turn around, don't drown when encountering flooded roads. Most flood
deaths occur in vehicles.
Report observed flooding to local emergency services or law
enforcement and to the National Weather Service in Duluth when you
can do so safely. Flooding can be reported to the National Weather
Service at 1-800-685-8612.
