Northwestern Branch County in southwestern Michigan... * Until 500 PM EST. * At 426 PM EST, a severe thunderstorm capable of producing a tornado was located near Colon, or 15 miles northwest of Coldwater, moving east at 35 mph. HAZARD...Tornado and quarter size hail. SOURCE...Radar indicated rotation. IMPACT...Flying debris will be dangerous to those caught without shelter. Mobile homes will be damaged or destroyed. Damage to roofs, windows, and vehicles will occur. Tree damage is likely. * This dangerous storm will be near... Union City around 430 PM EST. Other locations impacted by this tornadic thunderstorm include Sherwood and Leonidas. This includes Interstate 69 in Michigan near mile marker 21.
