Northeastern Sumner County in south central Kansas...
* Until 100 AM CST.
* At 1205 AM CST, a severe thunderstorm capable of producing a
tornado was located 7 miles west of Wellington, moving northeast at
35 mph.
HAZARD...Tornado and quarter size hail.
SOURCE...Radar indicated rotation.
IMPACT...Flying debris will be dangerous to those caught without
shelter. Mobile homes will be damaged or destroyed.
Damage to roofs, windows, and vehicles will occur. Tree
damage is likely.

Belle Plaine around 1230 AM CST.
Mulvane around 1235 AM CST.
Other locations impacted by this tornadic thunderstorm include
Wellington Airport, Mayfield, and Riverdale.
This includes Interstate 35 between Mile Markers 18 and 33.
