* WHAT...Urban and small stream flooding caused by excessive rainfall is expected. * WHERE...A portion of southeast Texas, including the following counties, Brazoria, Chambers, Galveston, Harris and Liberty. * WHEN...Until 515 PM CDT. * IMPACTS...Minor flooding in low-lying and poor drainage areas. * ADDITIONAL DETAILS... - At 321 PM CDT, Doppler radar indicated heavy rain due to thunderstorms. This will cause urban and small stream flooding. Overflowing poor drainage areas will cause minor flooding in the advisory area. Up to 2 inches of rain have fallen. - Additional rainfall amounts of 1 to 3 inches are expected over the area. This additional rain will result in minor flooding. - Some locations that will experience flooding include... Pasadena, eastern Pearland, northern League City, Baytown, Friendswood, La Porte, Deer Park, Alvin, South Houston, Seabrook, Webster, Beach City, Highlands, Channelview, Barrett, Clear Lake, South Belt / Ellington, Greater Hobby Area, Nassau Bay and Mont Belvieu. - http://www.weather.gov/safety/flood
