Description:
* WHAT...Urban and small stream flooding caused by excessive
rainfall is expected.
* WHERE...A portion of south central Texas, including the following
county, Bexar.
* WHEN...Until 1230 AM CDT.
* IMPACTS...Minor flooding in low-lying and poor drainage areas.
Dangerous flows over low-water crossings.
* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...
- At 922 PM CDT, Doppler radar indicated heavy rain due to
thunderstorms. This will cause urban and small stream
flooding. Up to 1 inch of rain has fallen.
- After over 3 inches of rain fell early Friday morning, this
quick addition of 1/2 to 1 inch of rain will likely flood
city streets and possibly flood low water crossings to the
point where they could become impassable.
- Some locations that will experience flooding include...
San Antonio, San Antonio Int Airport, Alamo Heights, Terrell
Hills, Shavano Park, Hollywood Park, Olmos Park, Castle Hills
and Hill Country Village.

Instruction:
Turn around, don't drown when encountering flooded roads. Most flood
deaths occur in vehicles.
Be especially cautious at night when it is harder to recognize the
dangers of flooding.
Stay away or be swept away. River banks and culverts can become
unstable and unsafe.
