* WHAT...Flooding caused by excessive rainfall continues. * WHERE...A portion of central Texas, including the following county, Milam. * WHEN...Until 200 AM CDT. * IMPACTS...Minor flooding in low-lying and poor drainage areas. * ADDITIONAL DETAILS... - Doppler radar and automated rain gauges indicated heavy rain due to thunderstorms. Low lying and/or poor drainage areas will experience minor flooding in the advisory area. Between 2 and 3 inches of rain have fallen. Additional rainfall amounts near 0.2 and 0.5 inches are possible before the rain ends for this area. - Some locations that will experience flooding include... Rockdale, Thorndale, Rogers, Buckholts, Alcoa Lake, Yarrelton, Sharp, San Gabriel, Praesel, Minerva, Pettibone, Davilla and Val Verde.
Instruction: 
Turn around, don't drown when encountering flooded roads. Most flood deaths occur in vehicles. Be especially cautious at night when it is harder to recognize the dangers of flooding. Be aware of your surroundings and do not drive on flooded roads.
