Description:
* WHAT...Flooding caused by excessive rainfall continues.
* WHERE...A portion of south central Texas, including the following
counties, Hays and Travis.
* WHEN...Until 115 AM CDT.
* IMPACTS...Minor flooding in low-lying and poor drainage areas.
Ponding of water in urban or other areas is occurring or is
imminent.
* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...
- At 1049 PM CDT, Doppler radar and automated rain gauges
indicated heavy rain due to earlier thunderstorms. Minor
flooding is ongoing or expected to begin shortly in the
advisory area. Between 1 and 2 inches of rain have fallen.
- Additional rainfall amounts up to 0.5 inches are expected
over the area. This additional rain will result in minor
flooding.

Austin, Pflugerville, Buda, Austin Bergstrom Int Airport,
Tanglewood Forest, Windemere, Manor, Mustang Ridge,
Niederwald, Onion Creek, Shady Hollow, Hornsby Bend,
Manchaca, San Leanna, Webberville, Creedmoor, Del Valle,
Pilot Knob, McKinney Falls State Park and Garfield.

Instruction:
Turn around, don't drown when encountering flooded roads. Most flood
deaths occur in vehicles.
Be especially cautious at night when it is harder to recognize the
dangers of flooding.
Please report observed flooding to local emergency services or law
enforcement and request they pass this information to the National
Weather Service when you can do so safely.
