Description: 
* WHAT...Flooding caused by excessive rainfall is expected. * WHERE...A portion of west central Texas, including the following counties, Crockett, Irion and Schleicher. * WHEN...Until 945 PM CDT. * IMPACTS...Minor flooding in low-lying and poor drainage areas. * ADDITIONAL DETAILS... - At 643 PM CDT, Doppler radar indicated heavy rain due to thunderstorms along and just south of the southern Irion county line...from 7 miles southwest of Barnhart to Barnhart to 10 miles south of Mertzon. Minor flooding is ongoing or expected to begin shortly in the advisory area. Between 1 and 3 inches of rain have fallen. - Additional rainfall amounts up to 1.5 inches are expected over the area. This additional rain will result in minor flooding. - Some locations that will experience flooding include... Barnhart. - This includes the following Low Water Crossings... crossings along County Road 302. - http://www.weather.gov/safety/flood

Turn around, don't drown when encountering flooded roads. Most flood deaths occur in vehicles.
