Description:
At 154 PM CDT, Doppler radar was tracking a strong thunderstorm 10
miles northeast of Cottage Grove, or 10 miles south of Murray, moving
northeast at 25 mph.
HAZARD...Wind gusts up to 50 mph.
SOURCE...Radar indicated.
IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around
unsecured objects.
Locations impacted include...
Paris Landing State Park, Puryear, Mill Creek, Whitlock, Foundry
Hill, Conyersville, Pine Hill, Crossland, and Buchanan.
Instruction:
If outdoors, consider seeking shelter inside a building.
Torrential rainfall is also occurring with this storm and may lead to
localized flooding. Do not drive your vehicle through flooded
roadways.
