At 502 PM EST, National Weather Service meteorologists were tracking a strong thunderstorm near Everglades National Park, or 23 miles northeast of Northwest Cape Sable, moving east at 10 mph. HAZARD...Wind gusts of 45 to 50 mph and half inch hail. SOURCE...Radar indicated. IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around unsecured objects. Minor damage to outdoor objects is possible. Locations impacted include... Mahogany Hammock, Everglades National Park, and Pa-Hay-Okee Overlook.
