Description: 
At 350 PM EST, Doppler radar was tracking a strong thunderstorm near Rock Harbor, or 8 miles southwest of Key Largo, moving south at 15 mph. HAZARD...Wind gusts up to 50 mph and penny size hail. SOURCE...Radar indicated. IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around unsecured objects. Minor hail damage to vegetation is possible. The public reported dime size hail near mile marker 94 and a half. Locations impacted include... Key Largo, Plantation, Rock Harbor, Windley Key, and Islamorada. This includes US 1 between mile markers 85 and 101.
Instruction: 
If outdoors, consider seeking shelter inside a building. Frequent cloud to ground lightning is occurring with this storm. Lightning can strike 10 miles away from a thunderstorm. Seek a safe shelter inside a building or vehicle.
