Description: 
At 302 PM EST, Doppler radar was tracking a strong thunderstorm 7 miles south of Pointe West, or 9 miles southwest of Vero Beach South, moving east at 35 mph. HAZARD...Wind gusts up to 40 mph and half inch hail. SOURCE...Radar indicated. IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around unsecured objects. Minor hail damage to vegetation is possible. Locations impacted include... Fort Pierce, Sebastian, Vero Beach, Fellsmere, and Indian River Shores.
Instruction: 
If outdoors, consider seeking shelter inside a building. Frequent cloud to ground lightning is occurring with this storm. Seek safe shelter inside a sturdy building or hard-topped vehicle. Remember, lightning can strike beyond 10 miles away from a thunderstorm. When thunder roars, go indoors!
