According to PTWC an earthquake of magnitude 6.4 occurred at 2.8 NORTH,
longitude 85.3 WEST near Cuba at 206 PM AST June 8, 2026 AST.
Given the reported intensity of the earthquake it is believed there is no
tsunami threat for Puerto Rico or the Virgin Islands.
