Description:
At 243 PM EDT, Doppler radar was tracking strong thunderstorms along
a line extending from near Tuppers Plains to near Sandyville to 9
miles southwest of Spencer. Movement was northeast at 25 mph.
HAZARD...Wind gusts of 30 to 40 mph.
SOURCE...Radar indicated.
IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around
unsecured objects.
Locations impacted include...
Parkersburg, Belpre, Spencer, Elizabeth, Coolville, Sandyville,
Mineralwells, Tuppers Plains, and Little Hocking.
This includes the following highways...
Interstate 77 in West Virginia between mile markers 144 and 178.
Route 50 in West Virginia between mile markers 1 and 15.
