Description:
At 333 PM EDT, Doppler radar was tracking a strong thunderstorm near
Asheboro, moving west at 10 mph.
HAZARD...Wind gusts up to 40 mph and pea size hail.
SOURCE...Radar indicated.
IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around
unsecured objects. Minor hail damage to vegetation is
possible.
Locations impacted include...
Asheboro, Randleman, Franklinville, and Randleman Regional Reservior
Marina.
This includes Interstate 73 between Mile Markers 72 and 85.
