Description: 
At 301 PM MDT, Doppler radar was tracking a line of showers extending from 9 miles east of Mesita to near Tome, moving northeast at 35 mph. HAZARD...Wind gusts of 50 to 55 mph and blowing dust. SOURCE...Radar indicated. IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around unsecured objects. Visibility may be reduced in blowing dust. Locations impacted include... Albuquerque, Los Lunas, Valencia, Bosque Farms, South Valley, Isleta Pueblo, Los Chaves, Tome and Rio Communities North. This includes the following highways... Interstate 40 between Mile Markers 120 and 157. Interstate 25 between Mile Markers 195 and 225.
Instruction: 
Monitor the weather situation closely and be alert for threatening weather conditions. Blowing dust associated with strong thunderstorm winds can reduce visibility below one quarter mile at times.
