Description:
At 231 PM MDT, Doppler radar was tracking a strong thunderstorm 6
miles southeast of Variadero, or 30 miles northeast of Santa Rosa,
moving east at 25 mph.
HAZARD...Wind gusts up to 50 mph and nickel size hail.
SOURCE...Radar indicated.
IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around
unsecured objects. Minor damage to outdoor objects is
possible.
Locations impacted include...
Conchas Lake State Park, Conchas, Conchas Dam and Variadero.
This includes State Road 104 between Mile Markers 50 and 86.
Instruction:
Monitor the weather situation closely and be alert for threatening
weather conditions.
