Description: 
At 1146 AM MDT, Doppler radar was tracking a strong thunderstorm 6 miles northwest of McIntosh, or 7 miles southwest of Moriarty, moving northeast at 45 mph. HAZARD...Wind gusts of 50 to 55 mph. SOURCE...Radar indicated. IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around unsecured objects. Locations impacted include... Moriarty, McIntosh, Clines Corners, Chilili, Escabosa and Miera. This includes the following highways... Interstate 40 between Mile Markers 191 and 220. Highway 285 between Mile Markers 243 and 261.
Instruction: 
Monitor the weather situation closely and be alert for threatening weather conditions. Blowing dust associated with strong thunderstorm winds can reduce visibility below one quarter mile at times.
