At 418 PM MDT, Doppler radar was tracking a strong thunderstorm outflow boundary extending from over Meadow Lake to near Veguita, moving east at 25 mph. HAZARD...Wind gusts up to 50 mph and blowing dust. SOURCE...Radar indicated. IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around unsecured objects. Reduced visibility from blowing dust. Locations impacted include... Valencia, Rio Communities, Casa Colorada, Rio Communities North, Jarales, Los Trujillos-Gabaldon and El Cerro Mission. This includes the following highways... Highway 60 between Mile Markers 173 and 185. Interstate 25 between Mile Markers 179 and 190.

Blowing dust associated with strong thunderstorm winds can reduce visibility below 3 miles at times.
