* WHAT...Urban area and small stream flooding caused by excessive rainfall is expected. * WHERE...East Central Franklin County in east central Missouri... Northwestern Jefferson County in east central Missouri... Central Saint Charles County in east central Missouri... Saint Louis County in east central Missouri... * WHEN...Until 1115 AM CDT. * IMPACTS...Minor flooding in low-lying and poor drainage areas. Rises in small streams and normally dry arroyos. Water over roadways. * ADDITIONAL DETAILS... - At 810 AM CDT, Doppler radar indicated heavy rain due to thunderstorms. This will cause urban and small stream flooding. Between 1 and 2 inches of rain have fallen. - Additional rainfall amounts of 1 to 3 inches are expected over the area. This additional rain will result in minor flooding. - Some locations that will experience flooding include... O'Fallon, St. Charles, St. Peters, Florissant, Chesterfield, Wildwood, Ballwin, Kirkwood, Maryland Heights, Hazelwood, Manchester, Creve Coeur, Overland, Washington, St. Ann, Bridgeton, Dardenne Prairie and Town and Country.
Instruction: 
Turn around, don't drown when encountering flooded roads. Most flood deaths occur in vehicles.
