Description:
* WHAT...Urban area and small stream flooding caused by excessive
rainfall continues.
* WHERE...Central Boone County in central Missouri...
Northwestern Cole County in central Missouri...
Northeastern Moniteau County in central Missouri...
* WHEN...Until 100 PM CDT.
* IMPACTS...Minor flooding in low-lying and poor drainage areas.
Rises in small streams and normally dry arroyos. Water over
roadways.
* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...
- At 1145 AM CDT, emergency management reported heavy rain in the
advisory area due to thunderstorms. This will cause urban and
small stream flooding. Between 2 and 3 inches of rain have
fallen, and area roads are covered with up to 6 inches of water.
- Additional rainfall amounts up to 1 inch are expected over the
area. This additional rain will result in minor flooding.

Columbia, Jefferson City, California, Ashland, Columbia Regional
Airport, St. Martins, Jamestown, Centertown, Rocheport, Easley,
McGirk, Midway, Marion, Lohman, Hartsburg, Lupus, McBaine, Sandy
Hook, Wilton and Kliever.
Instruction:
Turn around, don't drown when encountering flooded roads. Most flood
deaths occur in vehicles.
Be aware of your surroundings and do not drive on flooded roads.
