* WHAT...Flooding caused by excessive rainfall is expected. * WHERE...A portion of southeast Louisiana, including the following parishes, Ascension, East Baton Rouge, Iberville, Livingston and West Baton Rouge. * WHEN...Until 615 PM CDT. * IMPACTS...Minor flooding in low-lying and poor drainage areas. Water over roadways. Overflowing poor drainage areas. * ADDITIONAL DETAILS... - At 318 PM CDT, Doppler radar indicated heavy rain due to thunderstorms over the area. Minor flooding is ongoing or expected to begin shortly in the advisory area as many areas have already received upwards of a few inches of rain today. - Additional rainfall amounts of 1 to 2 inches are expected over the area from ongoing moderate rain. This additional rain will result in minor flooding. - Some locations that will experience flooding include... Baton Rouge, Denham Springs, Plaquemine, Port Allen, Oak Hills Place, St. Gabriel, Walker, Addis, Brusly, Livingston, French Settlement, Rosedale, Port Vincent, Inniswold, Westminster, Shenandoah, Old Jefferson, Village St. George, Merrydale and Gardere. - http://www.weather.gov/safety/flood
Instruction: 
Turn around, don't drown when encountering flooded roads. Most flood deaths occur in vehicles. Be aware of your surroundings and do not drive on flooded roads.
