Description:
* WHAT...Flooding caused by excessive rainfall is expected.
* WHERE...A portion of central Kentucky, including the following
counties, Breckinridge, Bullitt, Casey, Grayson, Green, Hardin,
Hart, Larue, Marion, Meade, Nelson, Taylor and Washington.
* WHEN...Until 1000 AM CDT /1100 AM EDT/.
* IMPACTS...Minor flooding in low-lying and poor drainage areas.
Water over roadways. Overflowing poor drainage areas.
* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...
- At 651 AM CDT /751 AM EDT/, Doppler radar indicated heavy
rain due to thunderstorms. Minor flooding is ongoing or
expected to begin shortly in the advisory area. Between 2 and
3 inches of rain have fallen.
- Additional rainfall amounts of 0.5 to 1 inch are expected
over the area. This additional rain will result in minor
flooding.
- Some locations that will experience flooding include...
Elizabethtown, Campbellsville, Lebanon, Hodgenville,
Springfield, Radcliff, Vine Grove, Lebanon Junction, New
Haven and Loretto.

Instruction:
Turn around, don't drown when encountering flooded roads. Most flood
deaths occur in vehicles.
Please report flooding to your local law enforcement agency when you
can do so safely and have them relay your report to the National
Weather Service in Louisville.
