At 237 PM CDT/137 PM MDT/, Doppler radar was tracking a cluster of strong thunderstorms 12 miles southwest of Lakin, moving northeast at 35 mph. HAZARD...Wind gusts of 50 to 55 mph. SOURCE...Radar indicated. IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around unsecured objects. Cloud-to-ground lightning with little rainfall may spark grass fires. This strong thunderstorm will be near... Lakin around 250 PM CDT. Other locations in the path of this storm include Deerfield.
