Description:
At 1050 PM CDT, severe thunderstorms were located along a line
extending from 9 miles southwest of Cottonwood Falls to near Benton
to near West Wichita, moving southeast at 45 mph.
HAZARD...70 mph wind gusts.
SOURCE...Trained weather spotters reported 65 mph wind gusts in
Bel Aire.
IMPACT...Expect considerable tree damage. Damage is likely to mobile
homes, roofs, and outbuildings.
Locations impacted include...
Wichita, El Dorado, Andover, Augusta, Bel Aire, Rose Hill, Douglass,
Towanda, Cottonwood Falls, Benton, Leon, Madison, Strong City, Kechi,
Hamilton, Northeast Wichita, Rosalia, Cassoday, Bazaar, and Elmdale.
This includes Interstate 35 between Mile Markers 49 and 116.
Instruction:

building.
