Description:
At 819 PM CDT, severe thunderstorms were located along a line
extending from 5 miles northwest of Lincoln to 5 miles southwest of
Sylvan Grove, moving south at 35 mph.
HAZARD...Golf ball size hail and 70 mph wind gusts.
SOURCE...Radar indicated.
IMPACT...People and animals outdoors will be injured. Expect hail
damage to roofs, siding, windows, and vehicles. Expect
considerable tree damage. Wind damage is also likely to
mobile homes, roofs, and outbuildings.
Locations impacted include...
Lincoln, Lucas, Sylvan Grove, Barnard, Ash Grove, Wilson State Park,
and Wilson Lake.
Instruction:
A Tornado Watch remains in effect until 1000 PM CDT for central
Kansas.
For your protection move to an interior room on the lowest floor of a
building.
