* WHAT...Flooding caused by excessive rainfall is expected to continue. * WHERE...Portions of south central Indiana, including the following counties, Floyd and Harrison and central Kentucky, including the following county, Jefferson. * WHEN...Until 445 PM EDT. * IMPACTS...Lanesville remains flooded with many roads closed. Flooding of rivers, creeks, streams, and other low-lying and flood-prone locations is occurring. Numerous roads remain closed due to flooding. It will take several hours for all the water from these storms to work through local drainage systems. * ADDITIONAL DETAILS... - At 136 PM EDT, Emergency management reported flooding with multiple water rescues. Between 5 and 7 inches of rain have fallen. Rain has ended for the afternoon but flooding continues. Slowly improving conditions are expected. - Some locations that will experience flooding include... Louisville, Jeffersonville, New Albany, Jeffersontown, St. Matthews, Shively, Lyndon, Middletown, Douglass Hills and Prospect. - http://www.weather.gov/safety/flood
Instruction: 
Turn around, don't drown when encountering flooded roads. Most flood deaths occur in vehicles. Stay away or be swept away. River banks and culverts can become unstable and unsafe. Please report flooding to your local law enforcement agency when you can do so safely and have them relay your report to the National Weather Service in Louisville.
