Description:
* WHAT...Flooding caused by excessive rainfall is expected.
* WHERE...The following counties, in east central Indiana, Fayette.
In southeast Indiana, Franklin.
* WHEN...Until 915 PM EDT.
* IMPACTS...Minor flooding in low-lying and poor drainage areas.
Water over roadways. Some low-water crossings may become
impassable.
* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...
- At 617 PM EDT, radar indicated heavy rain due to
thunderstorms. Minor flooding is ongoing or expected to begin
shortly in the advisory area. Between 1 and 1.5 inches of
rain have fallen. Additional rainfall amounts of 1 to 1.5
inches are possible.
- Some locations that may experience flooding include...
Connersville, Waterloo, Blooming Grove, Columbia, Metamora,
Bunker Hill, Laurel, Nulltown, Alpine, Everton, Mettel Field,
Alquina, Springersville and Bentonville.
Instruction:
Be aware of your surroundings and do not drive on flooded roads.
