Description:
* WHAT...West winds 35 to 55 mph with gusts up to 80 mph possible.
Localized gusts up to 95 mph are possible. The strongest winds are
expected Thursday morning through Thursday evening.
* WHERE...Bordeaux area along Interstate 25 between Chugwater and
Wheatland, Converse County Lower Elevations, and South Laramie
Range Foothills.
* WHEN...From late Wednesday night through Saturday evening.
* IMPACTS...Mainly to transportation. Strong cross winds will be
hazardous to light weight or high profile vehicles, including
campers and tractor trailers.
* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...Wildland fire danger will be very high. Fires
could spread very quickly through grasslands without snow cover.
