Description: 
* WHAT...Large breaking waves of 8 to 12 feet in the surf zone and dangerous rip currents. * WHERE...North and east facing reefs of the Marianas. * WHEN...For the High Surf Advisory, until 4 PM ChST this afternoon. For the High Rip Current Risk, through Sunday afternoon. * IMPACTS...Dangerous swimming and surfing conditions and localized beach erosion. Rip currents can sweep even the best swimmers away from shore into deeper water. * ADDITIONAL DETAILS...Elevated trade swell is being reinforced by a surge in trade winds due to the pressure gradient between Tropical Storm Hagupit 05W to the south and a high-pressure system to the north. These feature combined are producing up to 12 foot surf along east facing reefs and 10 foot surf along north facing reefs. The high surf advisory may be extend in the afternoon package. The high risk of rip currents is expected through Sunday.
Instruction: 
Rip currents will be life threatening. Inexperienced swimmers should remain out of the water due to dangerous surf conditions. Rip currents will be life threatening. If caught in a rip current, relax and float. Don't swim against the current. If able, swim in a direction following the shoreline. If unable to escape, face the shore and call or wave for help.
