White River at Elliston.

White River at Spencer.
White River at Newberry.
Wabash River at Mount Carmel.
White River at Hazleton.
White River at Petersburg.
.Total rainfall amounts of 3 to over 5 inches of rain across much of
central and southern Indiana is bringing widespread moderate to
isolated major flooding across the East Fork White and lower White
basins and their tributaries, and minor flooding along the Wabash at
Mount Carmel. Additional rainfall over the weekend and next week
could lengthen the amount of time area rivers remain in flood or
bring additional rises next week.
* WHAT...Minor flooding is occurring and moderate flooding is
forecast.
* WHERE...White River at Elliston.
* WHEN...Until Thursday morning.
* IMPACTS...At 26.0 feet, Shawnee Airfield floods as flood waters
begin to get into the hangar. Relocation of livestock may be
necessary.
* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...
- At 9:00 AM EST Friday the stage was 25.0 feet.
- Recent Activity...The maximum river stage in the 24 hours
ending at 9:00 AM EST Friday was 25.0 feet.
- Forecast...The river is expected to rise to a crest of 25.5
feet early tomorrow afternoon. It will then fall below flood
stage Wednesday evening.
- Flood stage is 18.0 feet.
