...The Flood Warning continues for the following river in Indiana...
Patoka River near Princeton.
.Recent heavy rain has resulted in rising water levels on the Patoka
River. The river is forecast to crest Monday evening in minor flood,
then fall below flood stage later in the week.
For the Patoka River...including Princeton...Minor flooding is
forecast.
* WHAT...Minor flooding is forecast.
* WHERE...Patoka River near Princeton.
* WHEN...From Sunday afternoon to late Thursday morning.
* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...
- At 9:45 AM CST Friday the stage was 13.8 feet.
- Forecast...The river is expected to rise above flood stage
early Sunday afternoon to a crest of 18.9 feet Monday
evening. It will then fall below flood stage early Thursday
morning.
- Flood stage is 18.0 feet.
Instruction:
Motorists should not attempt to drive around barricades or drive
cars through flooded areas.
Turn around, don't drown when encountering flooded roads. Most flood
deaths occur in vehicles.
