...The Flood Warning continues for the following rivers in
Missouri...
Big River at Byrnesville.
River forecasts are based on observed precipitation and forecast
precipitation for the next 48 hours.
* WHAT...Moderate flooding is forecast.
* WHERE...Big River at Byrnesville.
* WHEN...From late tonight to Sunday evening.
* IMPACTS...At 22.4 feet, At this level, Twin Rivers Bridge Road must
be closed.
* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...
- At 8:45 PM CST Thursday the stage was 14.4 feet.
- Forecast...The river is expected to rise above flood stage just
after midnight tonight to a crest of 21.6 feet early Saturday
morning. It will then fall below flood stage late Saturday
evening.
- Flood stage is 16.0 feet.
Instruction:
Turn around, don't drown when encountering flooded roads. Most flood
deaths occur in vehicles.
