Description:
* WHAT...Flooding caused by excessive rainfall continues.
* WHERE...A portion of southeast Ohio, including the following
counties, Athens, Morgan, Perry and Washington.
* WHEN...Until 400 PM EST Thursday.
* IMPACTS...Flooding of creeks, streams, and other low-lying and
flood-prone locations is imminent or occurring. Low-water
crossings are inundated with water and may not be passable.
* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...
- At 839 AM EST, Strong rises on creeks and streams continue
due to runoff from overnight rain. This has resulted in
several flooded roads across the warned area. Some larger
creeks experiencing minor flooding include Sunday Creek in
Athens County and the upper portions of Duck Creek in
Washington County.
- In Glouster, expect flooding of South Town Street, Kennedy
Road, and the Glouster Memorial Park. In Macksburg, expect
flooding of Main Street near the creek along with other low-
lying locations.

Instruction:
Turn around, don't drown when encountering flooded roads. Most flood
deaths occur in vehicles.
In hilly terrain there are hundreds of low water crossings which are
potentially dangerous in heavy rain. Do not attempt to cross flooded
roads. Find an alternate route.

free, 800 401 9535, when you can do so safely.
