Description:
* WHAT...Flooding caused by excessive rainfall is expected.
* WHERE...The following counties, in southeast Indiana, Dearborn,
Franklin and Ripley.
* WHEN...Until 800 AM EST Thursday.
* IMPACTS...Streams continue to rise due to excess runoff from
earlier rainfall. Low-water crossings are inundated with water and
may not be passable.
* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...
- At 130 AM EST, local law enforcement reported flooding in the
warned area. Between 1.5 and 3 inches of rain have fallen.
Additional rainfall amounts of 0.5 to 1 inch are possible.
- Some locations that may experience flooding include...
Batesville, Brookville, Osgood, Oldenburg, Sunman, St. Leon,
Napoleon, Cedar Grove, Mount Carmel, Interstate 74 at State
Route 101, Penntown, Lawrenceville, Saint Peter,
Huntersville, Ballstown, New Trenton, Sharptown, Rockdale and
Otter Village.
Instruction:
Turn around, don't drown when encountering flooded roads. Most flood
deaths occur in vehicles.
Be especially cautious at night when it is harder to recognize the
dangers of flooding.

your report via social media, when you can do so safely.
