Flood Warning for the following rivers in Indiana...
Clifty Creek at Hartsville.
.Between 2 and 4 inches of rain have fallen across central Indiana
as of early Wednesday morning. This has led several creeks to rise
above flood stage and main stem rivers will follow. Additional rain
is in the forecast over the next several days.
* WHAT...Minor flooding is occurring and minor flooding is forecast.
* WHERE...Clifty Creek at Hartsville.
* WHEN...From this morning until further notice.
* IMPACTS...At 11.0 feet, Low portions of Clifty Creek immediately
north of Hartsville and in the Newbern area flood.
* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...
- At 10:00 AM EST Wednesday the stage was 9.1 feet.
- Recent Activity...The maximum river stage in the 24 hours
ending at 10:00 AM EST Wednesday was 9.1 feet.
- Forecast...The river will oscillate above flood stage with a
maximum value of 11.2 feet tomorrow afternoon.
- Flood stage is 9.0 feet.
