The National Weather Service in Fort Worth has extended the
* Flash Flood Warning for...
Southwestern Dallas County in north central Texas...
* Until 1000 PM CST.
* At 754 PM CST, thunderstorms producing heavy rain continue to
remain across the warned area. Water rescues have been reported
across Cedar Hill and Duncanville by emergency management. Between
3 and 4 inches of rain have fallen. Additional rainfall amounts of
1 to 2 inches are forecast. Flash flooding is already occurring.
HAZARD...Life threatening flash flooding. Thunderstorms
producing flash flooding.
SOURCE...Emergency management reported.
IMPACT...Life threatening flash flooding of creeks and streams,
urban areas, highways, streets and underpasses.

Dallas, Grand Prairie, Desoto, Cedar Hill, Duncanville, Lancaster,
Hutchins, Cedar Hill State Park and Joe Pool Lake.
Instruction:
Turn around, don't drown when encountering flooded roads. Most flood
deaths occur in vehicles.
Dangerous flash flooding is occurring or is imminent. Do not attempt
to travel unless you are fleeing flood waters. If you are in an area
subject to flooding, move to higher ground now.
Be especially cautious at night when it is harder to recognize the
dangers of flooding.
Be aware of your surroundings and do not drive on flooded roads.
