...FIRE WEATHER WATCH IN EFFECT FROM THURSDAY MORNING THROUGH
THURSDAY EVENING...
.Stronger southwest winds and dry conditions return on Thursday,
increasing the threat of rapid fire spread in northeast and east
central New Mexico.
The National Weather Service in Albuquerque has issued a Fire
Weather Watch...which is in effect from Thursday morning through
Thursday evening.
* AREA AND TIMING...This includes the Northeast Plains (Zone 104),
Northeast Highlands (Zone 123), and Central Highlands (Zone 125)
from 11 AM MST to 7 PM MST Thursday.
* 20 FOOT WINDS...Southwest 25 to 35 mph with gusts up to 45 mph.
* RELATIVE HUMIDITY...Minimum values between 7 and 13 percent.
* IMPACTS...Any fires that develop will likely spread rapidly.
Outdoor burning is not recommended.
