Description:
The National Weather Service in Denver has issued a Fire Weather
Watch for wind and low relative humidity, which is in effect
Thursday afternoon.
* AFFECTED AREA...Fire Weather Zones 241, 245, 246 and 247.
* TIMING...Thursday afternoon.
* WINDS...South 15 to 25 mph with gusts up to 35 mph.
* RELATIVE HUMIDITY...As low as 10 percent.
* IMPACTS...Conditions will be favorable for rapid fire spread.
Avoid outdoor burning and any activity that may produce a
spark and start a wildfire.
Instruction:
A Fire Weather Watch means that critical fire weather conditions
are forecast to occur. Listen for later forecasts and possible
Red Flag Warnings.

Elbert/Central and East Douglas Counties Above 6000 Feet; Central and East Adams and Arapahoe Counties; North and Northeast Elbert County Below 6000 Feet/North Lincoln County; Southeast Elbert County Below 6000 Feet/South Lincoln County
