Description:
The National Weather Service in Eureka has issued a Red Flag
Warning, which is in effect from 11 PM Wednesday to 9 AM PDT
Thursday.
* AFFECTED AREA...Fire weather zone 419.Fire weather zone 420.
* WIND...North to northeast winds will increase overnight to 15 to
30 mph with gusts to 40 mph on the ridges.
* HUMIDITY...Recoveries on the ridges are only expected to be
around 20 to 40 percent Thursday morning.
* IMPACTS...any fires that develop will likely spread rapidly.
Instruction:
A Red Flag Warning means that critical fire weather conditions
are either occurring now, or will shortly. A combination of
strong winds, low relative humidity, and warm temperatures can
contribute to extreme fire behavior.
